Laptop getting really hot?

hi my laptop is fairly new, i bought it 6months ago from pc world, but the thing is lately it has been getting really hot, i keep it on a table so i dont see the problem of any sort of material involved but the main thing is that the fan roars like a lion and the left side of the laptop even the keys are hot! my laptop is hpg62 what could i do to cool it down or should i just go back to pc world
