Should I go vist my boyfriend in Anaheim, CA?

I am 18 and have been dating a guy I met online for several months. I live near sacremento CA, while he lives near Anaheim CA. I have yet to meet him in person, and he has began to long to meet me, however can't come up my way due to sharing custody of his 8 month old daughter. Any advice on if I should or not?
